How to record screen using VLC Media Player?

Hey guys welcome to my blog post. Today I am gonna tell you how to record your pc screen using VLC Media Player. VLC Media Player is not just a media player it provide very interesting features such as screen recording, video editing etc. Screen recording is required very often as we come across many thing that we need to record and save. There are many software recommendations for screen recording such as CamStudio, Camtasia, etc. but I recommend VLC Media Player as most of the time is already available in our pc so why to download an extra software. So follow the following steps to record your pc screen using VLC Media Player:-

1. Open the VLC Media Player and press ctrl + c.
2. A dialog box will appear. In the capture mode, select Desktop.
3. Then click on Play button.

4. Your screen will be displayed in the player.
5. Click on the record button available above pause button to start recording.
6. Finally, click on record button again to stop the recording.
7. The video file by default will be saved in the video folder in my computer.
