How to Restrict Background Data Usage in pc?

Hey guys welcome to my blog post. Today I am here with a very useful and helpful tip for the windows users. Sometimes when you connect your pc with the wi-fi, it consumes a lot of data in the background. This problem is very common to many users. This is really irritating. So today we are gonna see how to get rid of this problem.
Just follow the following steps to restrict your pc from using excessive data in background:-

1. Open the task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
2. In the task manager window, click on Services tab.
3. In the services tab, click on the Open Services button provided at the bottom.
4. A new Service window will open.
5. In the list provided look for Background Intelligence Transfer Service and right click on it.
6. Then click on Stop button.

This will prevent your pc from consuming a lots of data in the background. Another thing that you need to do is to turn all the Live Tiles off from the start menu. When you click on the window button, start menu appears. In the start menu, when you right click on the icons you will see an option namely Turn Live Tiles Off or Turn Live Tiles On. You have to turn all the tiles off. It will prevent them from auto updating. This will help saving your internet data.
