6 Cool Windows tricks

Hey guys welcome to my blog post. Today I am here with some of very helpful tricks for windows. These tricks are the ones that every windows user must know. There are many keyboard shortcuts for windows but I am gonna cover only those that not every know. Some shortcuts involve + e for opening File Explorer, + s for Search Bar and many more. So let’s start:-

1. Godmode

So this is actually a GodMode by name and by its working too. It gives access to each and every settings available in your pc. It is easy to start. Just create a new folder at any location in your pc. Rename it to GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E- 825C- 99712043E01C} and save it. With this your folder’s icon will change to this.

When you open it you will be given a categorized list of all the settings in your pc. From here you can access everything you want.

2. Capturing a Screenshot

Screenshot is a very useful tool in your day-to-day life. As in my previous blog we saw how useful Screen Recording is. In the same way screenshot is also very useful. But most of the windows users don’t know how to capture a screenshot in their pc. To capture one you should look for Snipping Tool in the search bar and open it. Click on New button and select the area you want to screenshot. Save the image in your desired location. It also provide facility of free-form selection.

3. Shortcut to open system info

Here is another shortcut for windows users. System info contains all the information about your pc such as processor, RAM, system type etc. These informations are very necessary when you wanna know whether your pc is compatible for some software. To open system info just press + Pause button. It will open the system info window and there you can find out all the information about your pc.

4. Shortcut to open Task Manager

Task manager is also a very helpful tool for pc. It contains all the running processes of your pc. In case any of your program's crash or when some program is not responding then you can just go to task manager and stop that program. You can also check your system performance and memory usage. To open task manager press ctrl + shift + esc.

5. Step recorder

This is another helpful tool provided by windows. When after you start this, it records all the steps you perform along with a screenshot of the steps. Just press + s and search for Step Recorder. Once you open it click Start Record to start recording and Stop Record to stop it.

6. Colorize Your Folders

This trick is really awesome. Once you colorize your folders it is very easy to distinguish between different folders. But this feature is not already provided in the pc. You need to install an additional software. Just go to the official website of softorino i.e. softorino.com and click on Folder Colorize. In the next page that opens, click on Free Download button. Your download will start automatically. You can just Click Here to directly download it. It is free and easy to use. Once you install it just right click on any folder you wanna colorize and select Colorize and choose any color of your choice. It provides a mammoth variety of colors. One example is attached here.
